I’m  a Ph.D. candidate in the astrophysics group in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia under the supervision of Orsola De Marco.  I also work closely with my co-supervisor, Olivier Chesneau, at L’Observatoire de la Côte d’Azur in Nice, France.  I’m studying the circumstellar environments of evolved stars, including compact disks inside pre-planetary nebulae.  I graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelors degree in physics in 2008.  I will submit my Ph.D. thesis at the end of 2012.    In my free time I enjoy sports, the outdoors, and traveling.
